Quotes On Cumorah

Image
Here are a few more. I think the site from which these were taken is anti-Mormon. However, the quotes themselves are accurate. Should anyone fret over my use of these quotes I will immediately (or at least as soon as possible) take them down. Here they are: The Church has long maintained, as attested to be referenced in the writings of General Authorities, that the Hill Cumorah in western New York state is the same as referenced in the Book of Mormon. Bishops are requested to make cognizant of this discrepancy those in their wards who might be sending for these maps or using them for instructional purposes. This concept of two Cumorahs should not be taught as official Church doctrine. (The Messenger, July 1960, No. 51) I do not believe that we should give credence to the highly speculative theories about Book of Mormon geography. I do not believe that ...

Why I created this site

I created this site mainly as a way to keep and document my researches in Book of Mormon geography. I believe there was only one Cumorah--the one in New York. However, I intend to keep any document, record, quote, or another source regardless of their belief in one or two Cumorah's.
